The CounterOrder Cadre

The CounterOrder Cadre is a select group of Nihilists, dissidents, and intellectuals that are actively expanding nihilism and related issues through various projects and collaborative efforts. Communication and coordination of Cadre efforts are conducted through The Symposium for Nihilism Forum operating under the Department of Communications at Holology.

How to Join

To join the Cadre you must be an active posting contributor to the Symposium forum for at least a month and with at least 5 messages to your credit. Second, you have to have a plan or a project that you are working on to benefit the Symposium, other Nihilists or nihilism in general. This can take the form of the following suggestions or you can create your own project pending approval.

  • Contribute to the newsletter - The Nihilism Now! newsletter needs your help, click < here > to read an issue.

  • Language translation - If you can read and write in a language other than English you could help to translate the text at CounterOrder.com into that language.

  • Establish a local network - You can find and connect with other Nihilists and would be Nihilists in your local region and report back on your efforts.

  • Spread the word - You can print posters or message and post them.

  • Write reviews - Read books, magazines and Internet sites for useful material on nihilism and then report back regularly to the group with a review.

  • Be an editor, proofreader, and/or fact-checker, always helpful!

  • Be a moderator - Act as a moderator on the Nihilism discussion boards.

  • Be a scout - Review the people and messages at Online Nihilism and elsewhere for potential promotion.

  • Write a novel based on nihilism.

  • Collaborate to make a movie based on nihilism.

  • Be creative - Invent a new idea, plan, or project.

Send your project ideas to Freydis or a moderator for admission to the Cadre. As a requirement for continued membership in the Cadre you must post the results, or a simple update, on your efforts in the Organizing and Planning section of the forum  at least once every month.
